Licensing & Open Access

After your article has been accepted, you'll need to make a decision about open access and sign a license agreement. Wiley is here to guide you through every step of the process, to ensure your article is correctly licensed and as open as you, your funders, and your institution want it to be.

Sign your license through Wiley Author Services. It is important that you understand what you are signing and get the right license for you and your institution. Copyright licenses detail the rights for publication, distribution, and use of research. Wiley authors must sign a license agreement before publication. Read your chosen journal's author guidelines for details on the journal's specific copyright agreement. Need help? View our Sign an Article License video and PDF guide.
