Account Dashboard
The Wiley Open Access Account Dashboard is an online tool for account management and administration, making account administration easy and efficient.
What does the Account Dashboard do?
Payment Request Management
- Review and approve or deny payment requests from authors who select your institution/funder Account for payment of their open access Article Publication Charge (APC).
Review Account History
- A summary list of all pending and/or recent requests is available from the Dashboard homepage.
- Approve payment requests and these will added to your Account and the article will be made open access on publication.
- Deny payment requests and these will be removed from your Account and the author will be asked to pay.
Receive new payments requests via email
- Sign up for new payment requests and 14 day reminders on outstanding payment requests.
Query payment requests
- You can add a note on the article and this will be sent to the Wiley Payment Administrator for their attention.

Account Reporting
Summary Reports
At a glance check:
- Your Available Balance
- Amount Pending your Approval
- Amount Under Review i.e. approved by you but not yet published
- Amount waiting to be processed by Wiley’s system
Detailed Reports
- Generate and download open access spend reports in excel: article name, journal name, author(s) name, funding sources, grant number, cost, discount, publication status, license type.
- Select by date: all history, current year, previous year or custom date.
Email Reports
- Automatically deliver reports to your email monthly or quarterly.
Management of Your Account
- Managing your Account information: Add multiple email addresses for reporting, and payment requests.
- Review previous invoices and payments you made on your Account.
- Add funds to your account: Request an invoice for a specific amount when you want to add more money to your Account. This will send an invoice to you automatically.
