Pilot open access agreement for authors at participating
Big Ten Academic Alliance institutions

Corresponding authors affiliated with participating Big Ten Academic Alliance (BTAA) member universities1 may publish open access in any of Wiley's hybrid journals (subscription-based journals that offer an open access option) without having to pay Article Processing Charges (APCs) as long as funding is available. Once institutional funding is expended, authors will still be eligible for a 10% discount on APCs if they choose to publish open access. Eligibility requirements vary per BTAA member university.

Wiley’s fully gold open access journals are not covered by this agreement.

Choosing to make your work open access increases its chance to be read, cited, and shared. Read more about the advantages of publishing open access here.
