Authors from all Hungarian Electronic Information Service Programme (EISZ) institutions may publish open access in any Wiley and Hindawi fully gold open access journal and in any Wiley hybrid journal (subscription-based journals which offer an open access option) at no further charge* to the author.
To publish without having to pay additional Article Publication Charges (APCs), the article's responsible corresponding author must be from an eligible Hungarian institution and the article must have been accepted on or after 1 January 2023. You can be confident that by choosing open access, your work will have the best chance to be read, cited, and shared. Read more about the advantages of publishing open access here. *subject to availability of sufficient funds in eligible EISZ institutions' Wiley Open Access Accounts

Please contact your university or library with questions.
1If you are no longer affiliated with an eligible Hungarian institution at the point of acceptance of your paper, you do not qualify.
2If you don't order open access initially, your manuscript will be published under the traditional closed access model. You may order open access retroactively, but once your paper is published in Early View or In Issue online you are no longer eligible to publish at no charge.
3Other article types e.g. letters, editorials etc. are excluded.
